Is necessary in my eyes, not only for the awesome Behemoth armor for a chocobo, but for the Helm of Light you get. The Destriet Beret in XI gave regen/refresh/reraise and increased skill gain, and you could use it for any job. So if it’s even somewhat similar to Destriet Beret, then I’ll be happy.

Lately I have seen tons of rants on my dashboard about ff characters, Rinoa in particular. This annoys me mainly because 1. If you don’t like the game don’t play it and 2. If you do like the game why are you focusing so much negativity towards it?

One of the things I adore about…

I’d as much rather see a rant about a disliked character as I would  worship over a beloved one.  There’s honesty in rants, and if you don’t like it, welcome to the big bad world of opinions that differ from yours.  It’s how the game is played, and not everyone that plays a game necessarily enjoys it in the OH MY GOD IT WAS AWESOME way.  We find faults with stories that are very dear to us, and yeah, sometimes we rant.  But we also praise the things we love, so please bear in mind that for every one negative thing you find, there is a metric fuckton of shit out there that shows how much people love various aspects of their games or movies or what the fuck ever.

The beautiful thing about this is that you can filter your discussions, not through some butthurt hiding of tags, but through actual discussion.  That’s what makes this fandom fun, and that’s what I enjoy about it.  Some people hate Quistis.  I love her.  I still like talking to various fans about it, because fuck.  If everyone agreed, this shit would be boring as hell.
